Rolette County Auditor- Auditor's Office

  • NATURE OF WORK:
  • The Rolette County Auditor serves as the County’s chief financial officer and plays a key role in financial administration, budgeting, elections, and overall county operations.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF WORK:
  • Processes county payroll checks, related reports, and employee benefits.
  • Prepares year-end financial statements.
  • Prepares the annual county budget, including revenue, expense, and levy estimates.
  • Prepares tax deeds for land foreclosures and conducts the annual foreclosure sale.
  • Serves as the Election Administrator by preparing for elections, training election workers, and conducting primary, general, and special county, state, and federal elections.
  • DESIRED MINUMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in accounting and/or office administration preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel experience is a plus.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
  • Health Insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield)
  • Retirement (ND PERS)
