Rolette County Auditor- Auditor's Office
- NATURE OF WORK:
- The Rolette County Auditor serves as the County’s chief financial officer and plays a key role in financial administration, budgeting, elections, and overall county operations.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF WORK:
- Processes county payroll checks, related reports, and employee benefits.
- Prepares year-end financial statements.
- Prepares the annual county budget, including revenue, expense, and levy estimates.
- Prepares tax deeds for land foreclosures and conducts the annual foreclosure sale.
- Serves as the Election Administrator by preparing for elections, training election workers, and conducting primary, general, and special county, state, and federal elections.
- DESIRED MINUMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in accounting and/or office administration preferred.
- Microsoft Excel experience is a plus.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
